About Jessica Franklin - Master Stylist

Jessica Franklin has lived in San Jose, CA for most of her life. She has been actively involved in the beauty industry for over ten years, starting back in 1995, where she started out as a manicurist for four years before becoming a professional hair stylist.  She has been doing hair now professionally for a little over 7 years.

During her professional career, she has attended a multitude of hair shows and classes that included advanced training courses to give her clients the highest quality service and experience.  Before Jessica became an independent Master Stylist, she honed her skills by working at some of the Bay Area’s premiere “high-end” salons and spas. Later this would lead to a key component in the perfect combination of her grand experience, her wiliness to serve and her holistic lifestyle that makes up SHEAR ORGANIX HAIR SALON: “Where we provide Holistic Hair Treatments and Certified Organic Hair and Skin Products.”

“I believe that it is very important to continually educate yourself in order to stay on top of your game and remain sharp at what you do.

I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands since I was a child.  I’ve been drawn to health and beauty all my life.  It’s no surprise that I ended up where I’m at in life.  My philosophy in life is to try my best to treat others as I would like to be treated. Nothing new there but I truly believe this and it shows in the services that I provide. When it comes to taking care of oneself I believe that it is so important to live a healthy balanced life (mentally, physically and spiritually).  One of the most invaluable lessons that I’ve learned in my life is that being healthy is a lifestyle.  You must cultivate it (lifestyle)as if it were a plant in order for it to grow healthy and beautiful.

I really love what I do.  One of the best things about being a beautician is the instant gratification that I get from someone after I’m done with the service.  It is such a wonderful feeling that you get inside when you put a smile on someone’s face.  I hope that you will give me the opportunity to put a smile on yours.”
