“Like many guys I'm not exactly conversant in the language of hair.  I like to tune out during the haircutting process and enjoy it almost as if it were meditation or a massage.  For years I hoped to find a stylist to whom I could say, "Don't ask me any questions. Just use your own vision to create a style for me that I will love."  No small task right?  Maybe that's why I was still looking. When I met Jessica she didn't even flinch at my admittedly selfish demands. Less than an hour later I opened my eyes to find a great new look! My fantasy was finally fulfilled. For the next 3 years I returned every 4 weeks.  Then one day Jessica uttered the p word. She was pregnant! And pregnancy inevitably leads to maternity leave. Of course I was happy for her but when that fateful day came I plunged back into the murky depths of hair anxiety.  Far & wide I traveled in search of a replacement but alas I found none. When it appeared that Jessica might not come back at all I panicked.  I found myself loitering near a barber shop filled with thoughts of hair suicide.  "Gimme the Britney Spears," I imagined myself saying. "Shave it all off." That's when I got an email from Jessica.  She was returning to the hair business but this time on her own. My hair was saved and is now back under the care of Jessica's talented hands. As a bonus I now enjoy the friendship of her two beautiful cats who supervise when I'm there.”

All I can say is that Jessica is part artist, part genius and part magician!  I first met her four years ago when I came to her, in great distress, with a head full of blunt-    cut, clumpy layers, the “creation” of someone who clearly did not understand my hair – or me for that matter.  I have very thick, coarse hair that grows quite quickly.  Jessica assessed it and really got it.  My hair needs to be thinned out and cut so it doesn’t grow out in clumps.  She got it then and four years later I wouldn’t trade her for anything or anyone else.  I am always pleased and amazed with her hairstyling and hair-care.  Care is the real thing with Jessica because she thinks things out and doesn’t just speed through the process.  I know she has done a lot of research about the products she chooses to use and wants to use the safest products for her clients. When Jessica moved her business I knew I had to follow her – wherever she went.

Whenever I leave after my session with Jessica I fell so renewed.  What more can I say?  Lots more actually, but the last thing I will say is that I feel so lucky to have met her and I know she enhances my hair and my life.
